Free Summer Music Concerts Scheduled

As the summer season approaches, all four of our eastern Carver County communities — Carver, Chanhassen, Chaska and Victoria — are ramping up for their popular summer concert series.

Take a look at the wide variety of music offerings and get the dates on your calendar. The concerts are a great place to enjoy some quality music and connect with your fellow residents.

Carver

The “Concerts in Carver” series begins at 6 p.m. on June 24 Liliana Rindal with Lili Horizon. Tricia and the Toonies perform at 10:30 a.m. on July 8, followed by Richard Larson at 6 p.m. on July 22. The series concludes with Wiggle Jiggle and Jam at 6 p.m. on Aug. 5.

Chanhassen

The Chanhassen Summer Concert Series will take place from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on Thursdays at Lake Ann Park. The free music gives attendees a chance to watch the setting sun across Lake Ann. The series usually is held at City Center Park, but the last few years it’s been at Lake Ann due to downtown construction projects.

This space provides ample parking, amenities like bathrooms and a concession stand, along with watercraft rentals.

The 2026 schedule opens on June 11 with the Tumbling Daisies, a country rock band. The kick-off event includes an ice cream giveaway, courtesy of J&R Complete Auto Repair.

Audio Circus (a variety cover band) performs June 18, followed on June 25 by Glycerin Tears (a 1970s pop rock group). On July 9, Lehto and Wright (a Celtic and American folk group) takes the stage, and July 16 The Walker Brothers Band performs.

The final two concerts are on July 23 with Raquel Hawkins, a country band; followed by a blues/rock band Retro Soul & Westside Horns featuring Big Mike on July 30.

Aug. 6 is a back-up night in case bad weather forces the cancellation of one of the summer’s concerts.

Chaska

The Tuesday kids’ concert series kicks off at 6 p.m. on June 9 with the always-popular Teddy Bear Band. All of the family-friendly concerts are held at Firemen’s Park.

The Bazillions perform at 10:30 a.m. on June 23, followed by Miss Nina at 6 p.m. on July 14. The series continues with Sticks and Stones at 10:30 a.m. on July 28, and then The Jolly Pops at 6 p.m. on Aug. 11. The series wraps up at 10:30 a.m. on Aug. 25 with Acoustic Rock for Kids, featuring John Kerns.

The Thursday night concerts are being held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the newly upgraded City Square Park in downtown Chaska this summer.

The first evening is June 11 with the Bavarian Musikmeisters, followed by Vinnie Rose on June 18. Traveled Ground will perform June 25 and The Brueskes on July 9.

Just Dave & The Rockin’ Allstars will take the stage on July 16, followed by a concert with the Minnesota Valley Community Band on July 23. Jazz on the Prairie is slated for July 30, with the Chaska Middle School Garage Bands performing Aug. 6.

The final three Thursday concerts are Chase and Ovation: A Salute to the Music of Prince on Aug. 13; Eclipse on Aug. 20; and Matthew Aitch on Aug. 27.

(Please note: There will be no concert on July 2.)

Victoria

Bayfront Park in downtown Victoria will play host to several free concerts on Wednesday nights at 6 p.m. The Charlson Thun Community Bandstand overlooks Stieger Lake. So grab a blanket, kick back, and soak in the sounds of summer at “Live by the Lake!”

Classic Car Nights are hosted by the Victoria Business Association in Downtown Victoria on the second and fourth Wednesday evenings June through August. Kid Nights are one hour with a family-friendly band and other fun activities for kids.
