Victory Lutheran Church and its CarePortal Team are inviting community members to participate in a powerful, eye-opening event designed to deepen understanding of poverty in America. The Cost of Poverty Experience (COPE) will take place on Saturday, April 25, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Victory Lutheran Church, located at 16200 Berger Drive in Eden Prairie.
COPE is an interactive simulation that offers participants a glimpse into the daily challenges faced by low-income families. Through this hands-on experience, attendees will gain a deeper awareness of the systemic and personal obstacles many families encounter, fostering greater empathy and community engagement.
The event is free to attend, thanks to the generous support of Maura Albrecht and Financial Wellness For You. Lunch will be provided for all participants. However, registration is required.
