Humanity Alliance Seeks Volunteers to Help Meet Growing Meal Needs

Humanity Alliance is a Carver County–based nonprofit organization dedicated to ensuring families have access to nutritious meals and essential resources.

Through volunteers, donors, partnerships and food rescue initiatives, Humanity Alliance serves families each week with dignity and care.

Humanity Alliance is asking community members to step forward and volunteer — especially on Friday mornings — as the organization works to meet a growing demand for access to nutritious meals. The nonprofit currently delivers food across nine local counties.

Located in Victoria, Humanity Alliance needs assistance Friday mornings with prepping and packing food for home deliveries. Just a few hours of one’s time can make a difference in people’s lives, said Greg Pavett, Alliance executive director.

Through its Everyone Eats 2025 initiative, Humanity Alliance is preparing and delivering more than 300,000 meals this year — more than 5,800 meals every week — to families facing food insecurity.

“The need is today, and it takes volunteers every single week to prepare, package and deliver meals to families who rely on this support,” Pavett said. “This is a great way to love your neighbor and strengthen our community.”
