Ridgeview’s Two Twelve Emergency Department Re-Designated Level 4 Trauma Hospital

Ridgeview’s Emergency Department at Two Twelve Medical Center in Chaska has been re-designated as a Level 4 Trauma Hospital by the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH).

The designation affirms Ridgeview’s ongoing commitment to providing high-quality emergency and trauma care to patients throughout the southwest metro region.

As part of the re-designation process, MDH conducted a comprehensive site review of the Emergency Department this spring. The review evaluated the hospital’s trauma program, clinical capabilities and compliance with statewide trauma system standards. Future site visits will assess progress related to recommendations from the State Trauma Advisory Council and continued adherence to trauma care requirements.

MDH recognized Ridgeview’s continued efforts to ensure seriously injured patients receive competent and expeditious care through Minnesota’s statewide trauma system.

Ridgeview is an independent, nonprofit, regional health care system serving the southwest metro region of the Twin Cities.
