Les Schwab Tires, an independent tire dealer, is opening a new store at 1800 Market Street in Carver on May 6.
The Carver location is among 13 new stores opening in the Upper Midwest in 2026 after swift expansion into Minnesota, North Dakota and South Dakota. The company now has 15 stores and more than 100 employees in Minnesota.
Store Manager Taylor Kelso said he looks forward to bringing the company’s service to the community. Les Schwab Tires has a 70-year history and was recently named the country’s top tire retailer by Consumer Reports.
“Our customers turn to us for the best possible service, value and convenience,” Kelso said. “For 10 years, I’ve had the privilege of working alongside great employees and customers at Les Schwab, forming lasting relationships built on service, integrity and a winning mindset. We look forward to bringing those values to our neighbors in Carver.”
Les Schwab Tires has a long history of community investment, including the company’s Tires for Purpose program, which awards local nonprofits a set of free new tires for their organization’s vehicle. It’s a way Les Schwab helps local organizations stay on the road to do more good.
Offerings at the new, 10,500-square-foot store will include retail service, alignment, shocks, oil changes and more. The Carver store will feature seven interior bays.
This new location has begun recruiting to fill local positions. Those interested in applying can visit the local store or visit lesschwab.com/careers.
