Join us for a frightfully fun seed collection event!
Learn about native plants and how to safely and responsibly collect seeds. Take home whatever you collect and watch how your native garden grows! All ages are welcome at this family friendly event. Costumes encouraged!
Wear sturdy, close-toed shoes for walking on uneven terrain. Pants and long sleeves are also recommended. Bring landscaping/gardening gloves if you have them. You may want to consider tick/insect repellant as we will be walking through vegetation.
This workshop is hosted by the Riley Purgatory Bluff Creek Watershed District, Carver Soil & Water Conservation District and Carver Country Water Management Organization.
Registration is requested to ensure we’re able to provide enough materials for everyone and will allow us to reach you in the event of a cancellation or postponement. RSVP at rpbcwd.org/seed-collection.
