Chanhassen FebFest Awards Winners

Saturday’s dark, windy weather didn’t keep ice fishing enthusiasts away from Lake Ann Park and Chanhassen’s 32nd Annual FebFest, which included an ice fishing contest.

Families were out in full force, not only for the fishing contest, but also to try the kicksleds, go ice skating, enjoy s’mores by a bonfire and ride in a horse-drawn wagon. Free snowshoeing, a medallion hunt, concessions and door prizes offered more community fun.

Fishing contest prizes were awarded to the 50 largest fish by weight of any legal species. The Chanhassen Rotary Club drilled the ice fishing holes and provided concessions for the event.
