Chaska Event Benefits Fire Department Relief Association
It was packed on the ice and off at Chaska’s Firemen’s Park on Saturday. While a good crowd of people hovered over their ice holes hoping for a strike, others filled the Chaska Event Center eating concession food and hoping for luck with the door prizes and bucket raffles.

SCAM ALERT: Cub Foods Employees Save Residents from Cryptocurrency Scam
Thanks to some savvy and caring Cub Foods employees, a few Chaska residents were recently rescued from losing thousands of dollars through a high-tech spoofing and cryptocurrency scam. Unfortunately, other residents weren’t as lucky. Local law enforcement is alerting the community of the scam involving what appears to be the administrative phone number of the Carver County Sheriff’s Department, as well as the Coin Star machine at Cub Foods.

Major Highway 41/10 Project Set to Begin Next Spring
By next year, the Highway 10/Engler Boulevard project in Chaska will be nearing completion. Scheduled to start in April 2025, this $34.3 million upgrade includes four roundabouts, improved traffic flow, and pedestrian underpasses for safety. The project focuses on safety enhancements, particularly for nearby schools, with completion aimed for late 2025.
