Construction Projects Impact Chanhassen Library Access

Construction on the Chanhassen Civic Campus will significantly affect access to the library from April 27 through mid-June.

Work on a new traffic circle will block the driveway and the entire parking ramp in front of the library. During this time, all library parking will move to the Chanhassen City Hall and Senior Center lot, located just east of the building. A sidewalk connects the lot to the library entrance. In addition, Kerber Boulevard will be closed north of the library while crews add on-street parking and a new crosswalk.

Because access may be difficult during construction, patrons may wish to move holds to another library location. This change can be made online under My Account or by calling at 952-303-0401 during open hours.

Holds can be placed at the Victoria Library, which offers extended access that allows patrons to pick up materials between 7 a.m. and 10 p.m. daily. However, it’s important to note that construction is also underway around the Victoria Library, including along Highway 5.
