Fishing with First Responders is the perfect opportunity for your child to experience a day outdoors with their local heroes. This program provides the excitement and anticipation of catching a fish, access to equipment and a tutorial on the basics, and ultimately having the chance to bond with their local first responders. Poles, bait and tackle provided, or if you have your own pole, feel free to bring it. Kids will have an opportunity to collect free goodies while checking out the latest emergency response equipment. Your kids won’t want to miss this chance to get to know their local heroes! Fishing licenses for all participants are covered through the DNR permit.
Participating partners include the Carver County Sheriff’s Office, Victoria Fire Department, and Minnesota Department of Natural Resources.
