What a Run: Chaska Girls Basketball Captures Class AAAA Consolation Championship
The Chaska Hawks Girls Basketball team shook off a heartbreaking loss to eventual State Champion Hopkins to defeat Anoka and Brainerd in dominating fashion, winning the Minnesota State Class AAAA Consolation Championship. The Hawks were led by junior Addi Schneider, who earned All-Tournament honors after averaging 28.7 points per game at State.

The Chaska/Chanhassen StormHawks Swim and Dive team finished 7th at this year’s Minnesota Class AA State Meet. Chanhassen HS Senior Isidore “Zed” Warain led the way with two top-three finishes, both of which resulting in Automatic All-American times and Chanhassen school records.

The Chaska Hawks Girls Basketball team earned a berth in the State Tournament with a thrilling 55-52 victory over the defending State Champion Minnetonka Skippers. This is the Hawks’ first trip to State since they won the championship in 2021

Ella Keenan’s overtime buzzer-beating jump shot led the Hawks to a huge upset of top-seeded Eden Prairie in Section 2AAAA Girls Basketball. Chaska will play at Minnetonka on Thursday with a trip to next week’s State Tournament on the line.
