Library Director Jodi Edstrom Featured on CCLN Podcast

Carver County Libraries have been serving the more than 110,000 residents across southwest metro communities since 1975.

Although libraries in county communities date back for 167 years since 1858, smaller libraries representing German, Swedish and English-speaking residents have flourished in the decades that followed.

Today, Carver County Libraries have six branches, a law library, and four express libraries. Led by Library Director Jodi Edstrom, the county’s library system is vibrant and flourishing, a gathering place for all members of our community to share and enjoy knowledge.

Carver County Local News is a volunteer-run non-profit organization dedicated to bringing important news to eastern Carver County.
Because we rely on volunteer time and effort, we value help from the community. See something newsworthy happening? Document it and submit a news tip here.
While we value community input and news tips, Carver County Local News does not publish letters to the editor or rebuttal opinion pieces.
We’re also actively looking for volunteer writers to help witness events in our community and share them with others. Click here to volunteer.
