Victoria, MN – The heart of downtown Victoria will come alive with the sights, sounds and scents of spring during Victoria in Bloom, a one-day celebration happening Saturday, May 3, 2025 to celebrate local businesses, seasonal beauty and community connection. The event is free and open to all.
Presented as part of the Discover Victoria campaign and co-supported by the City of Victoria, Victoria Living Magazine and the Victoria Business Association, the event invites attendees to explore downtown, enjoy festive spring activities and discover the charm of downtown Victoria.
What to Expect at Victoria in Bloom
- Shop local: Discover unique spring promotions and products from small businesses like White Birch House, Jes Naturals, Minne Organix, Antiques Worthwhile, Blendid and Karma Stacks.
- Sip and savor: Enjoy food and drink specials from local favorites like The Noble Lion, The Victoria Burrow, Nautical Bowls and others offering spring menus and Kentucky Derby-themed fun.
- Live music and 0utdoor activities: With music playing throughout downtown, visitors can stroll through the streets, pose in front of a live floral wall created by Divine Containers and take part in outdoor experiences like Yoga by the Lake, happening from 1–2 p.m. at the community bandstand in Bayfront Park.
- Kentucky derby flair: Dress to impress for derby-themed specials and a family-friendly derby wear contest at The Victoria Burrow at 3 p.m. or bring your pup to The Dog Nanny for a derby dog party.
- Community celebration: Celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Victoria Library with a ceremony at 10 a.m., followed by a performance by the Roe Family Singers at 10:30 a.m. in the bandstand.
Other featured activities include spring-themed giveaways at HomeTown Bank, create-your-own small bouquets with The Wellness Studio, a fine art exhibit at Grant Modern, spring planting tips from the Victoria Garden Club, a photo op at the antique tractor provided by JW Real Estate and decorated by Victoria Rose Floral, as well as discounts and treats from a range of small businesses throughout downtown.
“Our goal with Victoria in Bloom is to encourage people to explore downtown Victoria with all its charm,” said Kendra Grahl, City of Victoria communications and public engagement diirector, “as well as support our small businesses while enjoying some spring-themed fun.”

The Victoria Lions Club will keep the festivities going with a food truck festival at Lions Park on Sunday, May 4 featuring food trucks, a bounce house, llamas and live music.
