Luke Beckler, an eighth grade student at Chaska Middle School-West, has been selected to perform with the Minnesota Band Directors Association (MBDA) Grades 6-8 State Honor Band.
Beckler was one of six percussionists across the state selected to be in the band. The State Honor Band will rehearse and perform April 12-13 at Owatonna High School.
Beckler plays in the concert band, marching band, jazz band and garage band at Chaska Middle School-West with directors Tanya Gabel and Eric Songer.
