  • Obituaries
    Our obituaries page is now open to the general public. CCLN will accept and publish local obituaries at no cost.
  • CCLN Content Writers
    The CCLN content team is growing to include contributors across the communities. Learn more about our writers and content team members.
  • Communities
    All articles posted will now be sorted by community/location along with topics and categories. This will allow you to learn more about what’s going on in specific cities as well as the county.
  • Policies
    • The following policies have been added to the CCLN website:
    • Editorial Independence Policy
    • Donor & Financial Transparency Policy
    • Corrections Policy
  • New Features
    • Navigation Updates: Page layouts have been updated to show page path at the top of each page. Events can now be filtered by categories. All topics are easily accessible on the page sidebar. Pagination is available across most pages now (at the bottom) to easily navigate across multiple pages of articles.
    • Design Updates: All articles will be posted with a featured image. Author pages have been updated to show content by writer in one location. Image format is now consistent across all page types.

  • Responsive Design:
    • Our design automatically adapts to various screen sizes, ensuring the site is accessible and usable across all devices, from smartphones to desktops.
    • Applied by default, requiring no additional setup.
  • User Preference Button:
    • This feature enables users to view the website with personal visual preferences.
    • The adjustable features include: contrast, text size, readable font, mark titles, highlight links & buttons.
    • The button appears at the bottom right of the screen, above the light/dark mode button.
  • Scroll to Top Button:
    • This feature enables users to quickly return to the top of the page, improving navigation for those with mobility challenges and enhancing the experience on long-scrolling pages.
    • The button appears at the bottom left of the screen, above the language translation option, once you start scrolling down.
  • Language Translation:
    • Multilingual support through translation widgets allows non-native speakers to easily access content in their preferred language.
