SUMMARY:MVCB Concert: Folk Songs from Around the World
DESCRIPTION:Minnesota Valley Community Band Presents Folks Songs from Around the World. \n  \nIn their annual spring concert\, the MVCB will present a free concert with works by Van Der Roost\, Holst\, Yagisawa\, Gliere\, and others all based on traditional melodies from around the world and across the centuries.  Flutes of the Spirit and the Minnesota Valley Brass Quintet will also be performing on the program. \n  \nFolk songs are rooted in the lives of ordinary people and have been carried forward through collective memory. SUMMARY:Indoor Youth Archery Series
DESCRIPTION:Just because there may be snow doesn’t mean you can’t shoot a bow! Indoor archery is a fun way for kids to be active during our cold Minnesota winters. Participants use compound bows to grow their archery skills through fun games and experiential learning. \n  \nStudents learn the basics of range safety and proper stance\, aim\, and release techniques from our trained instructors. All equipment provided.
