This beloved winter event\, which was unable to open for the past two years due to warm weather and poor ice conditions\, brings together community members for a full day of excitement\, outdoor fun and friendly competition. \n\n\n\nThe highlight of FebFest is the highly anticipated ice fishing contest\, where over $6\,500 in prizes will be awarded to those who catch the 50 largest fish of any legal species. Fishing enthusiasts can participate for just $10 per ticket\, with prizes awarded based on weight. Only one fish prize per person is allowed and contest rules can be found on the event page. Pre-drilled holes and a fun\, competitive atmosphere ensure that participants of all skill levels can enjoy the contest. \n\n\n\nThis year\, FebFest also introduces new\, exciting new activities. Get ready to stretch and relax with Snow-ga\, a free yoga class hosted by Onelove.yoga\, which will take place on the ice from 12:30 to 1:15 p.m. Bring your own yoga mat and take part in this peaceful practice in the snowy outdoors. Additionally\, the nonprofit Future Anglers of Minnesota will be on hand to offer ice fishing demos for youth\, giving young anglers a chance to learn about the sport in a hands-on environment. \n\n\n\nAs always\, FebFest offers many free winter activities for the whole family to enjoy. Activities include horse-drawn wagon rides\, snowshoeing\, kicksledding\, ice skating (bring your own skates) and bonfires to warm up by. For those interested in trying their hand at fishing\, there will be a youth ice fishing station and attendees can win door prizes throughout the event.Attendees will also have the chance to score free T-shirts from past Chanhassen events\, available while supplies last. This adds an extra layer of fun and nostalgia to an already action-packed day. \n\n\n\nThe festival is free to attend\, but remember that the ice fishing contest requires registration. DESCRIPTION:One of our most favorite events of the year – some may even say it’s “the Goat.”  A day when we combine the release of our spring Bock beer with an afternoon of fun with goats and music!Come out to Schram Haus Brewery for a fun day of our Haus-made craft beers\, our yearly Bock release\, enticing food trucks\, toe-tapping music by Traveled Ground and a special appearance by Nashville Performing artist\, Steven Cade! Schram Haus is ready to supply the fun all day long with goat races\, cuddling\, and great photo opps\, plus t-shirt cannon launches\, and tantalizing beer poking.\nThe tent will be up for goats so we will have plenty of covered space to enjoy the festivities of the day no matter the weather!\nCheck-in begins at 12pm\, the crowd favorite Traveled Ground band will be performing until 4:30pm followed by Steven Cade from 4:30-6:30 PM\, goat races will occur at multiple times throughout the day\, and all other great offerings will be available throughout the day. Though G.O.A.T.Fest’s official hours are from 12pm-6pm\, Schram Haus Brewery is open until the usual 10pm that night\, so the celebrations can continue into the evening!
