Vintage Baseball at the Peterson Farm

Saturday, August 8 @ 1:00 PM 3:00 PM CDT

The 1860’s Baseball Game will be held at the Historic Andrew Peterson Farmstead. Please bring your own chairs and blankets to sit on for this game. Please remember it is a field game and seating will be located in the grass around the edge of the field.

Parking will be located in the grassy areas along the side of the driveway off of Highway 5 as indicated by the metal road sign. Bathrooms will be located at the top of the hill near the barn.

We will be joined by the On Point Barbeque food truck! Stop by early for delicious lunch options to enjoy with the game. If you’re looking for baseball staples, the CCHS will have you covered! Snacks including Peanuts, Cracker Jacks and Ice Cold water will be sold at the game by the CCHS! Popcorn, Cracker Jacks, and Beverages $1 each. Peanuts for $3.

Open House!

New this year – the historic Andrew Peterson Farmhouse will be open for viewing the hour before the game starts! This will not be a full tour, but anyone who’d like to drop by early and see the house before taking in the game is welcome to do so!
