Joining a First Tech Challenge (FTC) team offers students age 12-18 (7th-12th grades) hands-on experience designing, building, and programming robotics to compete in a supportive environment. Participants gain vital STEM skills, engineering and business experience, and career insights while building teamwork, leadership and confidence.
The 2026-27 Season starts Sept. 12th, with summer and pre-season activities. Teams meet at Chaska or Chanhassen High Schools. Do not need to be District 112 students to participate. Teams are administered through District 112 Community Ed. Come find out how you and your students(s) can participate!
The session will include info on the FTC program, participation registration, opportunity to talk with current team members, and visit a robotics room.
