Community members are invited to gather at the Crown of Glory Peace Pole in recognition of the International Day of Peace. The International Day of Peace, established by the United Nations, is observed each year on September 21 as a time to promote peace, harmony, and a global ceasefire. This year’s theme is “Act Now for a Peaceful World.” Church service will follow.
Crown of Glory’s Peace Pole, installed in 2018, stands near the church’s north entrance as a visible symbol of hope and unity. The four-sided wooden pole bears the words “May Peace Prevail on Earth” in eight languages and is surrounded by flowers and landscaping.
