Hold the Lutefisk

Tuesday, November 18 @ 6:30 PM 8:00 PM CST

Do you wear your best Norwegian sweater to church during the holidays? Do you look forward to Christmas – despite worrying if you made enough meatballs? Does the aroma of freshly-baked cookies and steaming-hot lutefisk mingle in your fondest yuletide memories?

If you answered yes to any of these questions – or are just curious about the weird and wonderful ways of a Scandinavian Christmas – you won’t want to miss the upcoming performance of Hold the Lutefisk (It’s beginning to Smell a Lot Like Christmas), featuring local comedy troupe, The Looney Lutherans.

The Looney Lutherans are a trio of wacky, lovable gals from the cast of the popular “Church Basement Ladies” theater series. The Looneys use music, comedy and audience participation to create a uniquely enjoyable and family-friendly experience that will keep you laughing all night long.

For their performance, the Looneys will help get you into the spirit of the season by sharing tips for surviving the Holidays – the Lutheran way (but you don’t have to be Lutheran to enjoy the humor!). Segments include letters to Santa, “Christmas Charades” and maybe even a visit from Saint Nick himself! Make your Yuletide bright by ordering tickets to Hold the Lutefisk today. (It’s the most fun you’ll ever have on a Tuesday night, doncha know.)
