Explore the historical island of Lake Waconia guided by park staff! After instructors review the basics of kayaking, participants will make the 30-minute paddle out to the island and disembark for nature walk while learning about the rich history of Coney Island of the West. Paddling is a strenuous activity and is not recommended for people with hip, back, or knee injuries. Previous paddling experience is encouraged, but not required. All equipment is provided. In the case of storms or strong winds, the program will be rescheduled. Participants must be age 14 or older.
