Join the League of Women Voters of Eastern Carver County (LWVECC) for an upcoming local Candidate Forum – welcoming candidates for Carver County Sheriff and Commissioner seats up for election this fall! Candidate forums offer voters a unique opportunity to hear directly from candidates before casting their ballot. All candidates appearing on the ballet for this race have been invited to participate.
What is a League Candidate Forum? League of Women Voters candidate forums are not debates. They are designed to be structured, respectful, and informative public Q&A sessions. Candidates answer uniform, vetted questions about their background, motivations, and goals as they pertain to the office they seek and are moderated by trained League members.
