  Chaska adopted a tax levy increase of 15.88 percent intended to maintain city services and facilitate current and future growth. About 8.76 percent supports the baseline levy, 5.18 percent accounts for inflation and 3.58 percent facilitates new growth in the community.

  Tax Levy Increase Helps Maintain County Roads, Staffing

  Carver County adopted a 6.8 percent tax levy for 2025 designed to continue the quality of life residents expect. This represents 2.4 percent, or $34 annual, tax increase for the average value of a home in the county — roughly $471,900. Annual tax increases should be higher or lower based on a taxpayer’s home value.
