Chaska Lions Organization Highlighted in New CCLN Podcast

(Disclaimer: Chaska Lions is a generous financial supporter of Carver County Local News.)

If you’ve been to River City Days or other big events in Chaska, you’ve likely seen the Lions tent serving up beer, raising money for good causes.

Since the group’s founding, one of their missions has been fighting blindness. Even today, Chaska Lions supports programs to protect eyesight through early screening and education.

In addition, they do much more, including supporting first responders, planting trees in our community, raising money to fight childhood cancer, and many other causes.

In this edition of the Carver County Local News (CCLN) podcast, we sit down with Brian Dahlke and Kevin Westerhaus of the Chaska Lions. We learn more about the civic organization’s mission and how they support our community. We also talk about how anyone can join and help make a difference in our community.

Tune in and learn more about Chaska Lions and what they are doing to help improve our community. And learn about how you can help them.
