Chanhassen Senior Center Hosts Open House

The brand new Chanhassen Senior Center had an open house on Monday, Nov. 3. More than 100 curious seniors attended and reacted with amazement, pleasure and grateful anticipation of future events at this updated facility geared primarily towards Chanhassen’s senior population. Attendees were treated to music by the Chan Jammers and cake.

The facility, under the leadership of Senior Center Director Mary Blazanin, features a large general-purpose meeting room with a kitchen and three additional meeting facilities designed for arts, crafts and small gatherings.

With large windows to flood the facility with natural light, an outdoor seasonal patio, and lots of well-thought-out spaces, this  should be a much-loved community builder for the city of Chanhassen.
