During the week of April 28, construction crews will continue working on Highway 101 between Highway 5 in Chanhassen and County Road 62/Townline Road in Eden Prairie.
The trail on the west side of the highway at Purgatory Creek and Twilight Trail will be closed at times as project work is tackled.
Throughout the week of May 19, construction workers will add markings at several intersections, including:
- Pleasant View Road
- Choctaw Circle
- Kurvers Point Road/Valley View Road
- 78th Street and Highway 5
This project, which began in June 2024 and will conclude this spring, includes several improvements, such as resurfacing the road, reconstructing the trail (west side of road), and installing overhead pedestrian signals at Twilight Trail and Valley View Road.
Additionally, the project includes repairing Purgatory Creek drainage issues and building accessible pedestrian crossings and curb ramps.
While the work continues, be on the lookout for potential lane closures and workers with flags.
