Maud Duggan has been honored with the Rotary Club of Chanhassen’s 2025 Distinguished Service Award.

One might think that sponsorship and hands-on help with many local events and initiatives is Maud Duggan’s business. It is not.
As hard as Duggan works to respond to the needs of the local community, she’s still the owner of Union Place, a technology and design company.
Nevertheless, through the years she’s carved out time to serve 13 years as chair of Excelsior Farmers’ Market, sponsored Excelsior’s FanFair, served as a STRIVE mentor to Chanhassen High School students since 2016, led Girl Scouts for a half dozen years, served on the Board of Humanity Alliance, and most recently helped form a local affiliate of Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library.
Since 2015, Duggan also has been a member of the Rotary Club of Chanhassen and recipient of multiple Rotary Paul Harris Fellowship Awards.
