Chaska Moravian Church to Host SafeTALK Suicide Prevention Training

The Moravian Church in Chaska is hosting a free SafeTALK Suicide Prevention Training on Friday, March 7, from 9 a.m.  to 1:30 p.m.

This evidence-based training, provided by Carver County’s 2B Continued, equips participants with practical skills to recognize and respond to individuals experiencing suicidal thoughts. A light meal will be provided, and attendees are encouraged to offer a free-will donation to help cover costs.

SafeTALK is a half-day training designed for individuals 15 years and older, teaching participants how to identify warning signs, engage with someone in crisis and connect them to appropriate resources.

With limited seats available (22 remaining), interested participants are encouraged to RSVP as soon as possible by contacting Pastor Charlie McDonald at pastorcharlie@chaskamoravian.org. For more information on SafeTALK and 2B Continued, visit www.2bcontinued.org.
